The Salesian Polytechnic University is an institution of humanistic and polytechnic higher education, of Christian inspiration with a Catholic character and Salesian nature; preferentially aimed at young people from popular sectors; It seeks to train “honest citizens and good Christians”, with human and academic excellence, with investigative and innovative capacity, who contribute to local and national sustainable development.
In the next ten years, the Salesian Polytechnic University will be a reference higher education institution in the search for truth and the development of culture, scientific and technological research; considered by society, business and industry, as a leader in the training of professional citizens from all social strata beyond the borders of Ecuador, with high academic value, innovative and flexible, with deep values to relate to their peers, with political advocacy and capable of offering a transformative experience, with skills to face the digital age, the use of advanced technology and ensure a sustainable future.
The educational community of the Salesian Polytechnic University, faithful to the mission and vision, prioritizes the following values:
